Terms

Terms and conditions

The terms that apply to a trip booked with us. Several commercial points are still to be confirmed and are marked as such rather than filled in with something plausible.

Requests, quotes and confirmations

Submitting the form on this website is a request, not a booking. A trip exists once we have confirmed it back to you. The confirmation sets the vehicle category, the pickup time and the locations, and it is the version that governs if it differs from the original request.

{{NEEDS INPUT: whether quoted prices are fixed or estimated, what can change them (tolls, waiting, extra stops, after-hours), and how long a quote stands}}

Changes and cancellations

Tell us as early as you can. A change made hours ahead is usually straightforward; the same change made at the scheduled pickup time often is not, because the vehicle and chauffeur have been committed to you and released from other work.

{{NEEDS INPUT: cancellation notice window and any charge, and the no-show definition and charge}}

Waiting time

For a scheduled pickup, the chauffeur is there at the confirmed time and the booking runs from that time. For an airport arrival, we track the flight, so the pickup follows the aircraft rather than the original clock time.

{{NEEDS INPUT: included waiting time for a scheduled pickup, a domestic arrival and an international arrival, and the rate beyond it}}

Payment

No payment is taken through this website. {{NEEDS INPUT: accepted payment methods, when payment is taken, deposit requirements if any, and the invoicing terms for corporate accounts}}

Companies booking regularly usually settle through a corporate account rather than trip by trip.

Passengers, luggage and conduct

Passenger and luggage counts given at booking determine the vehicle sent. If more people or more luggage turn up than were booked, the vehicle may not be able to take them, which is why the counts are asked for in advance rather than assumed.

Chauffeurs may decline to carry a passenger whose behaviour is unsafe or unlawful, or to continue a trip that has become either. Damage caused to a vehicle by a passenger is chargeable to the person who made the booking.

Items left in a vehicle are returned where we can identify the owner. We cannot take responsibility for property left behind.

Delays and conditions

Pickup times are planned against the conditions expected on the day, and we will tell you when a requested time looks too tight rather than accepting it and hoping. Traffic incidents, weather and road closures can still make a journey longer than planned, and those are outside anyone’s control.

{{NEEDS INPUT: the limitation of liability wording, which needs to be drafted or reviewed by a lawyer rather than written here}}

Contact and governing law

Toronto Corporate Limo Agency operates from Toronto, Ontario, and these terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Questions about anything on this page are best asked directly.
