The airport is the point
Most Mississauga bookings are Pearson trips, and the geography is unusually kind: the 403 runs east into the airport approach, the 401 sits along the top of the city, and the 427 closes the box. From the City Centre the drive is short enough that people underestimate it and leave too late, because the variable is not distance, it is the interchange.
That interchange — where the 401 meets the 427 — is where a fifteen-minute run turns into forty. It is the single reason a Mississauga airport pickup is timed rather than estimated, and the reason we would rather have the flight number than a departure time.
For anyone travelling the other way, arrivals into Pearson and onward to a Mississauga office are the easiest transfer in the region. A visitor landing at Terminal 1 can be at a Matheson Boulevard boardroom before they would have cleared the Pearson parking garage on their own.
Getting the building right
The recurring operational problem in Mississauga is not traffic, it is address ambiguity. Office parks along Explorer Drive, Matheson and Meadowvale Boulevard put several similar buildings on one campus with a shared entrance and no obvious numbering from the road. A chauffeur sent to the street rather than the unit will find the campus and then lose ten minutes inside it.
So bookings here ask for the building and the entrance, not just the address. If your office is one of several on a shared drive, tell us which door the visitor lot serves. It is a small piece of information that removes the most common cause of a late pickup in this city.
